Ann Juarez was born in New Britain, Connecticut on June 19, 1991. Making her the first-born generation of Latino Americans in her family. Her family came on a journey to the United States in 1986 in the pursuit of the American Dream.
Throughout the years Ann has lived in several states across the country, including Florida and Colorado. But when it comes to Connecticut, there’s no place like home.
Ann has a background of retail management in well-known companies such as Pier 1 imports and Victoria’s Secret, where she worked 2 management positions. Starting both as a sales associate and working her way to manager within a year. Ann utilized her sales background and applied it towards the transition of retail to banking.
Beginning her new career in banking, she started as a teller and was promoted within 6 months to banker. She currently works as a universal banker at a reputable financial institution, where she assists in the guidance of the financial well being of her clients.
When Ann is not busy working in the world of finance, she is on an academic path to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in digital communication & media. Current student at Middlesex Community College Ann plans to transfer to a University.
When it comes to her pursuit in a career so vastly different than the one she’s currently in, she follows investor and philanthropist Warren Buffett’s motto on happiness.

Ann’s career goals are to eventually land a position as a digital editor for a news publication. Her publication interests range from NBC to VICE, with the ultimate goal of starting her own.
Self-proclaimed feminist, Ann hopes to bring awareness to Women’s Rights through the use of the media. Ann wants to participate in the progression of the social, political, and the economic welfare of Women across the world.

Ann is working on a number of side projects including the start of her self-own videography and photography business. Ann’s work focuses on the production of music videos, nature photography and portraits. She is in the process of developing her portfolio.
On her leisurely time Ann spends time with her family and her two rescue Chihuahua’s Chico and Armani. An advocate to the humane treatment of animals, Ann was also a volunteer for The Connecticut Humane Society.
